When life is pressing in from every direction, it is easy to feel outmatched. The enemy knows your name, your fears, and your weakest moments. He is not shy about reminding you of them either. But here is what he does not want you to remember: he has already lost. Jesus did not just survive this world. He overcame it. And if the same Jesus who conquered sin, death, and the grave lives inside of you, then you carry that victory with you every single day. The battle may feel overwhelming, but the outcome is already decided. Paul understood this. He faced beatings, shipwrecks, imprisonment, and betrayal. Yet he never wrote as a man who had been defeated. He wrote as a man who knew the power living inside him was greater than anything standing against him. You are not fighting for victory. You are fighting from it. When the pressure mounts and the enemy whispers that you are done, remind yourself of whose you are. The God of the universe is not just watching from a distance. He is living inside you, and He has never lost a single battle.
Scripture for Today
"Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than He who is in the world."
- 1 John 4:4
Take a Moment to Reflect
If you truly believed that the power of Christ inside you was greater than every obstacle in front of you, what would you stop running from today?
From This Week’s Message
"Greater is he that is in you than he that's in the world. And Jesus said, I have overcome the world. And if he lives in you and he overcame the world, guess what? You can too."
- Pastor Bruce Word
A Simple Prayer
Father, remind me today that I am not fighting alone. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me. Help me to walk in that truth and not in fear. Amen.
