If we are honest, most of us have moments we are not proud of. Choices we made when we were living life on our own terms, chasing what we wanted, ignoring what God wanted. That is not just your story or my story. That is the human story. Isaiah 53:6 puts it plainly. We have all gone astray. Every single one of us. But here is where the story takes a turn that changes everything. God did not leave us wandering. He laid our iniquity on Christ. Every failure, every selfish decision, every moment of rebellion, He placed it all on Jesus. That is grace. Not getting what we deserve. You deserved the consequences of your sin, and so did I. But God made a way. He took your guilt and freely gave you His grace in return. That exchange happened at the cross, and it is available to every person who will simply come to Him. You do not have to clean yourself up first. You do not have to get better before you come. God is not waiting for you to be worthy. He is simply waiting for you to come. And when you do, He meets you with grace that is bigger than anything you have ever done.
