There is a difference between being knocked down and being knocked out. One is temporary. The other is a choice. Every person who has ever lived a life of faith has had moments on the mat. Moments where getting back up felt impossible. Where the weight of everything pressing down made staying down seem easier than fighting through. But here is what Scripture makes clear: being struck down is not the same as being destroyed. Paul knew this firsthand. He was beaten, imprisoned, and left for dead more than once. Yet he kept going. Not because he was tougher than everyone else, but because he knew the One who was holding him up. Getting back up is not about willpower. It is about trust. It is about believing that God is not finished with your story, even when you cannot see the next chapter. You may have walked into today feeling down. That is okay. But down is not done. God is still writing, still working, and still calling you forward. The person who keeps getting back up, one more round at a time, is the person who never truly loses. Get back up. God is not finished with you yet.

A Simple Prayer

Lord, give me the strength to get back up one more time. Remind me that You are not finished with my story and that my hope is anchored in You, not in my circumstances.
